Happy Friday! I hope you’ve had an awesome week. Here things have been quite busy, wrapping up Thanksgiving break with the kids and preparing for Christmas.
Since contracting Lyme, I started doing most of my shopping online because it’s so convenient and I don’t have to get out and fight the crowds and long lines. Today I’m meeting my mom for lunch and doing a little shopping in-store and I’m hopeful the experience will be as stress-free as possible.
If you have shopping left to do be sure to check out the gift guides below for ideas. Onto this week’s favorites…

CariPRO Electric Toothbrush Giveaway
Ultra Brite was so kind as to send me one of their CariPRO electric toothbrushes, valued at $119. I’m super excited to announce that they’re going to be giving away a CariPRO to one lucky reader soon! I’m planning to post my review of the toothbrush sometime early next week and the GIVEAWAY entry link will be in the post, so watch for it in the next few days!
Boston Terrier Shenanigans
You’re probably wondering why the picture above could possibly be one of my favorites. What happened here isn’t, but that cute little pup is.
I recently bought Rudy a new, super-soft dog bed. And as you can see, he obliterated it to smithereens. Someone close to me asked, “What’s that long thing in the picture?” Well, that’s part of the bed. So if you ever wondered what the inside of a dog bed looked like, now you know.
This little monster chewed it up within about three minutes, because I literally went to the bathroom and when I came out…voila.
His big brother Max is who we like to call the ‘perfect dog.’ He has all the best qualities you’d expect in a dog. Plus he’s unbelievably patient, putting up with
all most of Rudy’s shenanigans and incessant nipping of his hindquarters.
Together, these two balance each other out…most of the time. So even though Rudy can be a total troublemaker, he’s still one of my favorites. Some things cannot be explained.

Thanksgiving With The Family
What did you do for Thanksgiving? We spent family time with my side of the family one day, then David’s side another day.
And on Thanksgiving Day, David, the kids and I had a fun day at home together. We cooked a traditional Thanksgiving meal including our favorites. Each person prepared a dish.
It wasn’t a keto-friendly meal, but it was chock full of real, nourishing food and so delicious. After cleaning up the kitchen and resting for a while we played a hilarious game of Scattagories. I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time.
Do you do most of your shopping online or in-store? If you have a dog is he/she as mischievous as Rudy?
