Dealing With Chronic Illness
About a decade ago I had to quit my teaching job because I became very ill.
For months I was bedridden, in constant pain, and none of my doctors could figure out what was causing this debilitating illness.
I can’t even tell you how many specialists I went to, asking for someone to help me. Anyone.
You’re Not Alone
I felt like I was dying and alone. I was scared that I wouldn’t live to see our 4 children grow up, graduate, and live their lives. After 2 long years of suffering through many symptoms, tests revealed what was causing my body to shut down and keeping me in constant pain. Though it’s been a long uphill journey, my health has improved so much in the past few years. But it didn’t happen overnight or without tons of effort and God’s grace. Far from it.

- did physical therapy
- tried natural protocols for healing
- learned how to share my feelings instead of bottling them up
- strengthened my body with gentle yoga
- learned how to give myself grace
- took nutritional supplements
- gave myself B-12 injections
…all the things. And it didn’t stop there because I’m a work in progress and always will be. Creating a new normal for life has given me hope and renewed my perspective and purpose. And now I’m here to help Y-O-U become who you want to be.

People who were dealing with similar illnesses started calling, texting, and emailing me. They were desperate for answers, the medical community hadn’t helped them, and they needed hope that they would one day feel better too.
I wanted to help more people take back their lives, get healthy, and be well so I decided to learn even more. I became a Certified Holistic Wellness Coach and Certified Life Coach so that I could help more people live healthier lives. I love what I do!
